Μετατροπή Αποθήκης σε Κατοικία_Πυργί Χίου

This study concerns the conversion of a building outside the cohesive urban tissue of the medieval settlement of Pyrgi, which served as a warehouse and as a space for agricultural work, into a residence. The construction is from the middle of the 20th century, made of reinforced concrete that is being restored. The interior spaces are restructured and designed. The facades are being decorated in the traditional style of the "scrapers", which dominates the settlement.
Πρόκειται για τη μετατροπή ενός κτίσματος έξω από τον συνεκτικό ιστό του μεσαιωνικού οικισμού του Πυργίου, που χρησίμευε ως αποθήκη και χώρος αγροτικών εργασιών, σε κατοικία. Η κατασκευή είναι των μέσων του 20ου αι. από οπλισμένο σκυρόδεμα, που ενισχύθηκε. Έγινε αναδιαρρύθμιση και σχεδιασμός των χώρων εσωτερικά. Οι όψεις διακοσμήθηκαν με την παραδοσιακή τεχνοτροπία των ¨ξυστών¨, που κυριαρχεί στον οικισμό.
